The laser displacement sensor is a device designed for non-contact measurement of displacements and structural deformation between two points in geotechnical and infrastructure applications. The device uses a high-precision laser to measure the distance between two reference points, enabling automated monitoring of relative movements even over significant distances. The integration of a tri-axial MEMS inclinometer allows simultaneous detection of inclination variations, providing complete point measurement of structural behavior in terms of displacement and rotation. Thanks to its non-contact measurement principle, ease of installation, and capability for automated monitoring, the instrument represents an ideal alternative for applications where traditional sensors cannot be installed.
