The hydrostatic profiler is designed for the measurement of differential settlements and ground deformations along a horizontal alignment, enabling the determination of elevation changes over time. The instrument is based on hydrostatic pressure measurements along a tubing installed within the structure or the ground: a high-precision pressure sensor detects the level difference between each measurement point and a reference reservoir positioned in stable conditions. Measurements taken at multiple points along the alignment allow reconstruction of the settlement profile, enabling analysis of differential deformations and the long-term behavior of the structure or soil.
